  • Reduced weight by 20% or more
  • Increased mechanical performance
  • Superior surface finish
  • Unique aesthetic look

Applications:
SAMURAI Carbon fabrics are primarily intended for the production of ultra lightweight fibre composite constructions. Therefore it is very important, during the manufacturing process of the fabric, to use a method which is gentle and causes the lowest possible friction while processing the carbon fibre. This ensures that a maximum of the fibre values is retained and the existing lightweight potential can be optimally exploited.
SAMURAI Carbon fabrics are also suitable for design applications. However, despite the utmost care in the production, slight variations in the weave pattern cannot be completely excluded. Especially with larger rolls we cannot guarantee a consistently smooth weave pattern.

Calculated data for hand laminates with 35 volume percent fibres:
Resin consumption: 51 g/m², laminate thickness: 0.070 mm, laminate weight: 94 g/m²
